Our Vision
Growing Stars Preschool provides a fun, safe place for children to grow, learn and play. We use learning through play, letting the children use their imaginations to create wonderful social and independent life skills through playing.
Our History
Growing Stars Pre-school was founded in 2022 and is run by Kelly and Sarah; Kelly has over 15 years of childcare experience and Sarah has 12 years of management experience. Together they have a wealth of knowledge to help guide your children through the early part of their learning and educational journey.
Our Staff
Growing Stars Preschool has a team of staff who are qualified or who are starting their qualifications in childcare. It prides itself in supporting staff to gain knowledge and experience whilst providing a fun and learning environment for the children we look after and care for.

I have over 15 years experience within childcare, initially starting as a childminder where I completed my level 3 in childcare.
I have a passion for developing physical health and wellbeing, I love learning new things and watching children learn through play fills me with enjoyment.
I spend my spare with my family and friends, having 3 boys of my own to keep me busy.
I enjoy taking my dog for long walks around my local area and love spending time exploring the world we live in, travelling is a hobby of mine.

I have 15 years experience as a nurse and within nursing management. I have 3 children of my own, 1 of which has additional needs.
My passion for childcare has always been there but like most, changing from ‘what I knew’ was a challenge, a challenge that I embraced and wouldn’t look back, My only regret is that I didn’t make the jump sooner.
I have a love for learning about additional needs, ensuring the safety of child and safeguarding.
I hold my management and leadership status as well as completing my childcare qualification.
In my spare time I enjoy time with my family and friends, football is my life, playing taxi service to my 3 boys and husband.
Alongside football I like going for long dog walks through the woods with our dog and days out as a family.

Our Mission Statement is:

Growing Stars Preschool is in the Marston Leisure Park in Marston Moreteyne. We have a large enclosed garden which is full of natural learning materials for your child to explore. We have access to a large playing field, a local park and have built links with the local community. Local care home visits, walks, forestry schools, pet interactions and emergency services are just some of the links built with the local area.
Languages at Growing Stars Pre-School
Growing Stars Pre-School School are super lucky to have some of our staff that are fluent in foreign languages.
Ula's first language is Polish. Noami who speaks fluent Hungarian, German and Swedish. Did you know that Ula and Noami frequently share songs or nursery rhymes in other languages? - The children find this fascinating.
All staff learn basic words in different languages for children who use English as an additional language.
We do also invite parents into the setting to share other languages with the children.
SEND at Growing Stars Pre-School
Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND)
At Growing Stars Pre-School, our inclusive setting offers families with SEND a range of options to meet their specific support needs. We always try to find a way to engage and support children and families as best we can. Children with SEND in are supported by all pre-school staff, external professionals and agencies. Some children will also received a 1:1 support worker.
All children in our provision have individual planning and documentation that reflects their personal interests and curiosities. Children with SEND also have a need specific action plan, which uses a small step approach to support their learning. This is reviewed on a regular basis with parents. We also create a 'one page profile' for each SEND child. This gives all staff and external colleagues vital information about the child, improving their understanding of the child's unique needs, helping to ensure high well-being.
