I am the Manager here at Growing Stars Preschool, in Rothwell, with 8 years of experience in childcare, where I first started my journey from leaving school. I have always had a passion for working with children, sharing their journey from such a young age and having such a big impact on their learning and experiences is something that I admire most. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you’ve made a difference in their lives in some way! I have a passion for developing wellbeing and providing a nurture calm environment, where children can feel safe and happy, allowing them to flourish and learn.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I am also a dog Mum to my Dog, named Buster. We love to go on long walks together in the woods and finding new places to explore.

I have been working with children in various roles for the past 9 years. The experience I gained enabled my interest to grow in 2 particular areas……..creative and outdoor play.
Allowing children to express their creative ideas in various ways has been important to me. I have been able support children’s wellbeing and individuality, whilst allowing them to experiment.
I have also gained invaluable experience whilst working in a forest school setting, whilst becoming a qualified level 3 practitioner. This has given me a passion for the outdoors. With the knowledge and experience I have gained; I feel it is essential to pass this onto our children to enable them to love their environment and to take care of it.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and taking mountain bike rides with my 2 teenage children

I have a level 3 qualification in childcare and I also hold a level 5 management degree in childrens social & residential care
I spend all of my free time with my children, we like to be outdoors exploring new places but we also enjoy our time inside watching movies & playing board games.
For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to work in childcare. I have 12 years of experience, after completing a childcare qualification at college.

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to work in childcare. I have 12 years of experience, after completing a childcare qualification at college.
I have worked in nurseries, as an au pair, a babysitter and as a nanny for 10 years. In recent years, I have developed a keen interest in the psychology aspect of childcare, completing courses in understanding mental health in children and young people and neuroscience in early years.
When I'm not at pre-school, I'm spending time with my 2 children aged 4 and 1. We love to play games, go to the park and read stories together.
As a Mum and a childcare practitioner, my favourite part is watching the children grow, develop and learn through play and being a part of their journey is an absolute joy!

I have over 15 years experience within childcare, initially starting as a childminder where I completed my level 3 in childcare.
I have a passion for developing physical health and wellbeing, I love learning new things and watching children learn through play fills me with enjoyment.
I spend my spare with my family and friends, having 3 boys of my own to keep me busy.
I enjoy taking my dog for long walks around my local area and love spending time exploring the world we live in, travelling is a hobby of mine.

I have 15 years experience as a nurse and within nursing management. I have 3 children of my own, 1 of which has additional needs.
My passion for childcare has always been there but like most, changing from ‘what I knew’ was a challenge, a challenge that I embraced and wouldn’t look back, My only regret is that I didn’t make the jump sooner.
I have a love for learning about additional needs, ensuring the safety of child and safeguarding.
I hold my management and leadership status as well as completing my childcare qualification.
In my spare time I enjoy time with my family and friends, football is my life, playing taxi service to my 3 boys and husband.
Alongside football I like going for long dog walks through the woods with our dog and days out as a family.
